EFFINGHAM — Students at St. Anthony High School will now get hands-on experience with the tech world through a new course offered at the school called MobileMakersEdu.

ROCHESTER, Minn. –  A new program at Rochester Public Schools is turning to local businessmen and women for help with inspiring young entrepreneurs.

These future business visionaries had spent the school year participating in one of the most challenging scholastic and career programs in the world - The Lewisville Independent School District’s (LISD) INCubatoredu program. This class, more commonly referred to by participants and instructors as the “Incubator program,” is changing lives of students who would prefer to enter the business world directly out of high school.

Students win national contest and help break down gender barriers in business

A program initially launched to help support an Illinois school system looking to introduce business to its students, is now implemented in 363 classrooms throughout the country, impacting 25,000 students with support from 3,200 business community volunteers.  INCubatoredu was launched at the start of the 2013-14 school year in the Barrington 220 school district in Barrington, Illinois, by Uncharted Learning, NFP, after a group of local entrepreneurs and community leaders observed that students who had obtained college degrees were still struggling to move out of their parents' homes and start their professions.  

Miami University’s Institute for Entrepreneurship has announced a partnership with an Illinois-based nonprofit that offers entrepreneurial education. The goal? To bring business courses to area high school students.

Students at Mountain Brook (AL) high school learn how to vet a business idea, design a business, and pitch the business to investors in a unique entrepreneurial curriculum.

Students in the INCubatoredu class at Marian Central Catholic High School presented their innovative products or services to a panel of judges during Final Pitch Night on May 9.

ROCKTON — Dominick Welte took a business class as a sophomore at Hononegah High School, and he wasn’t especially eager to take another this year when he was approached by Hononegah business teacher Jason Brunke.
